Readings
First: Deuteronomy 26:4-10 - Moses tells the people to announced how the Lord brought them out of Egypt, and to bow down in the sight of God.
Psalm: Psalm 90 - Be with me Lord in my distress / He who dwells in the shelter of the most high / Upon you no evil shall fall
Second: Romans 10:8-13 - Confess from your lips and believe from your heart - scripture makes no distinction between Jew and Greek.
Gospel: Luke 4:1-13 - Jesus is tempted by the devil in the wilderness - do not put the Lord to the test.
