Cemeteries
SS. Peter & Paul Parish maintains three cemeteries: Ireland Cemetery, the original cemetery, located in Mercur, and the cemeteries on James St. in N. Towanda and at Immaculate Conception Church in Ulster. A cemetery committee under the supervision of Bill Farley is in charge of lots and general maintenance. Volunteers are needed once or twice a year to help beautify the cemeteries, and assistance is now needed in updating cemetery records into our new database.
