Grace Connection is a ministry of local churches that seeks to lovingly aid people over the hardships of life by connecting with them in the name of Jesus Christ, and to help provide assistance when and where other agencies are not available. 

All congregations and congregational members in the Towanda, Northeast Bradford, and Wyalusing School Districts are invited to participate in the daily functions and governing board of Grace Connection.

• Can you answer the phone and take messages? You also can help us!
• Can you ask people their name, address, and other personal information and write it on an application? You also can help us!
• Are you wise, and can you make compassionate but responsible decisions? You also can help us!
• Do you have vision for ministry to the poor, and do you enjoy serving boards? You also can help us!
• Do you enjoy finding creative ways to raise funds? You also can help us!
• Is your gift time and patience, and could you use that time to fill out grant applications? You also can help us!
• Can you donate any amount of money to a worthy cause? You also can help us!

Grace Connection provides monetary emergency assistance for:

• Shelter (including assistance with security deposits, rent, & utilities)
• Transportation for emergency situations (gasoline for doctor’s appointments)
• Emergency Food
• Clothing
• Emergency Furniture (if first discovered by the client)
• Emergency Prescriptions
• Hygiene Items

Visits to Grace Connection require an appointment.  To arrange for an appointment call the Towanda office at +1-570-268-0431.  Hours are Mondays and Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  They are located in the lower level of Christ Episcopal Church:
