First: Genesis 12: 1-4 - God calls Abraham to leave his country and family and go the land that God will show him
Psalm 32 - May your love be upon us O Lord as we place our hope in You / The word of the Lord is faithful / The Lord looks on those who revere him / Our soul is waiting for the Lord.
Second: II Timothy 1:8-10 - rely on the power of God who has saved us and called us to be holy.
Gospel: Matthew 17:1-9 - Jesus is transfigured, his face shines like the sun ... God says "This is my Son the Beloved, he enjoys my favor, listen to him"
