TWENTY-THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME - YEAR A

Readings

First: Ezekiel 33: 7-9 - The prophet explains that God will hold him responsible for failing to pass on information from God.

Psalm 94 - O that today you would listen to his voice, harden not your heart / Come ring out our joy to the Lord / Come in and let us bow and bend low.

Second: Romans 13: 8-10 - All the commandments are summed up in a single command: You must love your neighbor as yourself ... love is the answer to every one of the commandments.

Gospel: Matthew 18: 15-20 - Jesus outlines a process for resolving conflicts in the community - approaching the offender first and then the elders. ... "Where two or three meet in my name, I am there."
