FOURTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME - YEAR C
Readings
First: Isaiah 66:10-14 - Rejoice Jerusalem ... now I send flowing peace like a river ... to his servants the Lord will reveal his hand.
Psalm: 65 - Cry out with joy to God all the earth / before you all the earth shall bow / He turned the sea into dry land / Come and hear all who fear God.
Second: Galatians 6:14-18 - What matters is for [a person] to be come a new creature - peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, who form the Israel of God - the marks on my body are those of Jesus.
Gospel: Luke 10:1-12, 17-20 - Jesus sends the 72 out - the harvest is rich but the labourers are few ... let your first words be "peace to this house" ... rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
