Readings
First: Genesis 18:20-32 - Abraham's negotiation with God about saving Sodom and Gomorrah if there are only a few just men found there.
Psalm: 137 - On the day I called, you answered me, O Lord / I thank you Lord with all my heart / I thank you for your faithfulness and love / The Lord is high yet he looks on the lowly / You stretch out your hand and save me
Second: Colossians 2:12-14 - You have been raised up with Christ through your belief in the power of God .. he has brought you to life with him.
Gospel: Luke 11: 1-13 - Jesus teaches the disciples to pray the "Our Father" ... knock and the door will be opened ... ask and it will be given to you.
