First: Exodus 32: 7-11, 13-14 - Moses convinces the Lord to show mercy to the people who he bought out of Egypt, even though the were sinning.
Psalm: 50 - I will leave this place and go to my father / Have mercy to me O God in your kindness / A pure heart create for me O God / O Lord open my lips.
Second: I Timothy 1: 12-17 - Jesus came to save sinners - he showed his mercy to the, as God's mercy was shown to Paul.
Gospel: Luke 15:1-32 - Parable of the missing sheep or missing drachma ... rejoicing among the angels of God over one repentant sinner ... the Prodigal Son
